TROPOS was inspired by the way plants instinctively move toward light. Through a series of curved steel surfaces that intertwine in space, the installation translates this vital impulse into an immersive environment that visitors can explore from multiple perspectives.

At its center, a luminous sphere changes color throughout the day, becoming both the visual and symbolic core of the work. It represents the passage of time, the search for direction, and the constant process of transformation that shapes all living systems.

Set within the courtyard of Palazzo Strozzi, TROPOS creates a dialogue between nature and artifice, movement and permanence, inviting visitors to reflect on change and on the relationship between body, light, and space.
