I researched cardboard from every angle — its composition, technical properties (lightness, thermal/acoustic insulation, workability), its connection to Italy's territory through production and recycling, and its fabrication techniques (laser cutting, CNC milling, die-cutting, gluing and interlocking joints, UV/digital printing, protective coatings).
Building on this research, I designed a trade-fair exhibition stand made entirely of cardboard, based on an interlocking joint system with no glue or mechanical fasteners — making it fully modular, reversible, and reusable. The stand also includes matching furniture (tables, seating, shelving) built with the same construction logic, finished in a palette of raw cardboard with soft blue-grey accents for visual depth.
